If you notice a guardrail that appears to be unsafe or damaged, please contact 3-1-1 and report the issue. Please be as specific as possible regarding both the condition and location of the guardrail so that City-Parish crews can respond to the situation appropriately.

The location of the guardrail in question is critical both for response and maintenance oversight efforts given some roads in the city or parish are maintained locally by the City-Parish while others, such as state routes, are maintained by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. If a route is not one that is maintained by the City-Parish, a 3-1-1 Call Center representative will alert you with the appropriate information for contacting DOTD with your issue or complaint.
